How to LOGIN
Logging in to a website can be frustrating! We know. Here are some suggestions to help you navigate the Login maze successfully.
Step 1. Click on the LOGIN link at the top right of the home page.
Step 2. Enter your user name and password in the login form. If you want your browser to remember your information so you don’t have to, check the Remember Me box. (NOTE: In addition to checking the Remember Me box, you must also have your browser enabled to remember passwords. See your browser settings to make sure this is enabled.)

Step 3. Click the Login button.
You will see the following message indicating that you have logged in successfully:
You are now logged in. Please use one of the menu links at the top of the page to go to your area of interest on the site.
You’ll find additional information below that may help if you have problems logging in.
LOGIN for Existing Members:
If you have been a member since before our new website was put into operation (before June 2016), your username is the email address we have on file for you, and your password is the word “temp” (all lower case). Once you are logged in, you can change your password using the instructions below under “How to change your password.”
First time LOGIN for New Members:
When you first become a new member, you will receive an email from JSO ™ with a web link. Clicking on this link will confirm your email address and take you to a page on the JSO website where you can finish your registration.
In the registration form, you can choose your username and password–you will need to remember both to log in. You can also fill in your contact information so we can reach you if there are any problems. Once you have filled in the registration form, please click on the LOGIN link at the top of the website page to log in to the site. Just fill in the same username and password you put in the registration form (they both have to be correct to log in). Remember that passwords are case sensitive, i.e., capitalization matters–it must match what you entered into the registration form.
If your password doesn’t work:
If for some reason the username and password are not working, click on the Password Reset link under LOGIN at the top of the web page. Enter your email address and click the Reset Password button. The site will send you an email with your username and a new password. Use these to log in to the JSO website. Remember that passwords are case sensitive, i.e., capitalization matters–it must match what you received exactly. Once you are logged in, you can change your password using the instructions below.
If the system doesn’t recognize the email address you entered for the password reset, it means that we have a different email address on file for you. Please send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and the email address you would like to use.
How to change your password:
If you don’t like the password you received from a password reset, or you just decide to change your password, click the Edit Profile link under LOGIN at the top of the web page. In the profile form, type the new password (you need to enter it twice), then click the Update button. The next time you log in, use the new password. Remember that passwords are case sensitive, i.e., capitalization matters–it must match what you entered into the profile form exactly.
